April 2023 Highlights

April 2023 was a month filled with difficulties and obstacles that pushed me to my limits. I made the tough decision to leave my job for XYZ reasons, without any backup plans. The process of preparing for tech interviews took a toll on me, both mentally and physically. On top of that, the job market presented frustrating situations, with recruiters either saying my previous salary was too high or offering lower compensation due to my unemployment status.  I discovered the true meaning of friendship and the importance of patience when striving for positive outcomes. In this blog post, I will share my experiences from April, highlighting the hardships I faced and the valuable lessons I learned along the way.

Leaving My Job

April marked a significant turning point as I made the decision to leave my job in the name of self-respect. Lowball Offers and Negotiation

During the job search, I encountered a disheartening trend: receiving lowball offers or being told that my previous salary package was already high. These experiences can be frustrating, as they undermine the value of our skills and experience.
